Não temas diante deles porque eu sou contigo
Para te livrar diz o senhor

Before I formed you in the womb
I knew you, I chose you
I sanctified you, and gave you as a prophet to the nations
Then I said, O Lord Jehovah
I do not know how to speak, I am a child
But the Lord said to me, don't say I am a child
Wherever I send you, you will go
And whatever I command you, you will speak
Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you
To deliver you, says the Lord
The Lord stretched out his hand, touched me with ointment
And said to me: Behold, I have put my words in your mouth
And I set you this day over the nations, over the kingdoms
To pluck up, to pull down, to destroy
And to ruin, and to build, and to plant.
"Do not be afraid of man,
Wherever the Lord sends you, in any place, race,
Tribe or nation, go! And whatever he commands you, you will say..."
