İlahi, bu qanun nə qəribədir.?
Bir ölüm, min canı xilas eyləyər.
Vətəni uğrunda can verənlərə,
Yaradan cənnəti miras eyləyər.

Hər kəsə bəyandır bu ki, həmişə,
Şəhiddən cənnətin qoxusu gəlib.
Bu Vətən nə gözəl lay-lay deyib ki,
Bu qədər igidin yuxusu gəlib...

Candır Şəhid, yaşayan candır Şəhid!
Torpağın üstündəki bircə damcı, qandır Şəhid!
Elə bir rütbədir ki, hər bir kəsə nəsib olmaz,
İnsanın alisidir, gör necə insandır Şəhid?!

Nə şərafətli əcəldir, nə ləyaqətli ölüm!
Ki, vətən torpağı uğrundakı qurbandır, Şəhid!
Şəhidin yeri cənnətdir, buyurubdur yaradan,
Cənnəti axtaran hər bir kəsə ünvandır, Şəhid!

Düzdü, çox böyük dərddir bu dünyada qalanlara,
Çünki, səni unutmaq da bizlərə nöqsandır, Şəhid...
Arxanca ağlayanlar həm də, səninlə qürur duyur
Sən baxma gözlərində yaşları leysandır, Şəhid!

Sənə borcludur bu torpağda qalan hər bir kəs,
Elə bil xəstələnmişik, bizə loğmandır Şəhid!
Məzarın üstə gedən yolda fədadır canımız,
Bizlər nə karəyik?! Aləmə sultandır Şəhid!

Can ey Şəhid! Sənə qurban ey Şəhid!
Məzarın nur ilə dolsun, hər bir an, ey Şəhid!
Bu vətən torpağını sən öz qanınla suvarmısan,
Çünki xeyli çiçək yetişdirib həmin qan, ey Şəhid!

Düşmənin atdığı hər mərmi əgər zəhərdirsə,
Onu şərbət eliyəndir, belə dərmandır Şəhid.
Bu millət ağlayacaq arxanızca hər daim,
Ki, bəlkə göz yaşımız yolunda ehsandır, Şəhid!

Və bütün dünya baxır görür şəhidlik arzumuz,
Oxunan fatihələr dünyaya üsyandır, Şəhid!
Sən ki, torpağ uğrunda öz canını sipər etdin,
Həmin ol torpağ indi üstünə yorğandır, Şəhid!

Şərəfli şəhadət bir ağac olsa,
Siz həmin ağacda bir budağ olun.
Bədəni torpağa fəda etdiniz,
Bu vətən sağ olsun! Siz də, sağ olun!

The Creator bequeaths paradise.

The martyr smells of paradise.
