She has departed, yet my body remains, following her footsteps
My heart cries out in anguish, my sorrow knows no bounds, where art thou?
My pen writes of sorrow, my soul is consumed by pain
My body lies lifeless, come, where is my grave?

If only you knew how I have cried out your name to the world
My executioner, where is my final judgment?
Without you, even the seasons seem to have changed
In summer, where is my radiant sun? In winter, where is my snow?

Until the day I die, I will not tire of calling out your name
The sole light in my garden of love, where art thou?
My emotions have rebelled against the world
My cries have reached the heavens, spreading throughout the universe, where art thou?

Somehow, poetry no longer brings me solace
My Bakhtiyar, my Shahriyar, where art thou?
Pain burns my soul, yet I grow accustomed to it
Where art thou, my unwavering companion?

May my eyes go blind from shedding so many tears
In my right eye lies joy, in my left, despair, where art thou?
As if my spirit were chained to the depths of hell
My soul has lost its patience, its determination, where art thou?
