Gel, ey ateşiaşkına yanmak için âşıkları birbiriyle yarışan

Gel, ey, ayrılığında çoğalan alevleriyle arınalım aşkının
Yanalım yandıkça ve yandıkça yanalım
Aşk yüzünden elbisesi yırtılan da
Hak uğruna gözlerini kurutan da seni arzulamakta şimdi

Bizi kendine madem yine sensin bağlayan
Ve ayrılığının derdine yine sensin ayrılıkla derman olan
O hâlde gülümse bize, efendim, bize gülümse

Sırrına ermekte rehberimiz ol

Dostluğuna muhtacız
Umutsuz ve çaresiz bırakma çaresizlerini
Gel yeter ki, hakkımızda verilecek her hükme razı olalım

Come, My Master

Come, O you, whose lips are touched with smiles when you speak,
Come, O you, whose face is adorned with the grace to dispel the sorrow of the sorrowful,
Come, O you, whose fiery love sets lovers racing with each other to burn in its flames.

Come, O you, let us be purified by the flames of your love, which multiply in your absence.
Let us burn as we burn, and burn as we burn.
Both those whose garments are torn by love
And those who have dried their eyes for the sake of truth are longing for you now.

Since it is you who bind us to yourself,
And you who are the remedy for the pain of your separation with separation itself,
Then smile upon us, my master, smile upon us.

"Allah loves them, and they love Allah."
Be our guide to reach the secret of this.
Hold our sinful hands, hold these sinful hands of ours.

O you, if you would come to our dreams once,
And we would shower baskets upon baskets of roses upon you,
If you would come to our thoughts for a moment,
And we would lay springs at your feet, flower by flower, season by season, fragrance by fragrance.

If you would rise upon our world in place of the full moons for a time,
And show us your essence, if not during the day, then your phantom by night,
If you would enter our dreams suddenly,
And caress our heads with your compassionate fingers, light by light,
And we would fall into your light like moths,
Like moths, we would fall into your light.

Come, my master, just come,
Be the inspiration to our pure hearts,
Touch my heart once,
Just come, come, my master.

Peace be upon Muhammad,
You are Mustafa, the luminous Ahmed,
You are the sultan of the prophets,
O Messenger of Allah, Muhammad.

Be born into us once,
And let the full moons and suns vanish if they must.

Enter our eyes for a breath,
And let the kohl be erased if it must.
Become the inspiration to our pure hearts in an instant,
And let the hymns and odes be lost from end to end if they must.
Let the verses and lines be lost from end to end if they must.

Come, my master,
We are in need of your friendship.
Do not leave your helpless ones hopeless and helpless.
Just come, and we will be content with every decree that will be given about us.

Come, O you, end your unending longing within us,
Come, O you, without whom we cannot find happiness,
Come, O you, whom we are not worthy of.

Come, my master, touch my heart once,
Touch my heart once,
My heart is bleeding, master, my heart is bleeding.

Humanity is crying out, like trampled sweet basils, always seeking you.
Awaken our Yusufian loves that we have imprisoned in dungeons, my master.
Awaken their fortunes, their forgotten ones.
Awaken, awaken us.
Master, master.

You are a mercy to the worlds,
What does he who does not know you know?
You love your Ummah very much,
Intercession, O Messenger of Allah.
