Vi stiamo facendo ascoltare dal vivo
L'ultimo, l'ultimo album, che mi è capitato di fare
Con un mio concittadino genovese, Ivano Fossati

È un disco che è una specie di inno alla solitudine, un elogio alla solitudine
Per chi se lo può permettere, intendiamoci
Ci sono persone che la solitudine non se la possono concedere
I vecchi, i malati, il politico
Il politico solo è un politico fottuto perché lui ha bisogno degli altri
Gli altri magari non hanno bisogno di lui, ma lui
Se non ci sono gli altri è fottuto in partenza

Comunque, senza volere fare una conferenza
Perché siamo qua per far parlare le canzoni
E non per, per chiacchierare
Io desideravo dire che se si può, e quando si può
Stare da soli penso sia molto utile
È utile perché si riesce ad avere un accordo con il circostante
Ed il circostante non è fatto soltanto di nostri simili
Circostante a noi c'è tutto l'universo

Riuscendo ad avere questi contatti probabilmente
Si riesce a pensare meglio a sé stessi
A pensare meglio a quali sono i nostri problemi, separando i falsi dai veri
Si riesce probabilmente a trovare una soluzione per loro
E siccome siamo simili ai nostri simili
Possiamo trovare delle soluzioni anche per la gente che ci circonda

È in quel momento che possiamo finalmente poterci dire giusti, corretti
Per poter avere dei contatti con gli altri
Ehm, per farla breve, io, durante la mia esperienza
Sono un uomo che non ha bisogno di dimostrare la sua età
Tirando fuori la carta d'identità
O facendo vedere il pelo che comincia a imbiancare
Io la vita l'ho vissuta credo davvero

Ecco, ma è appunto per esperienza che desideravo appunto concludere il discorso
Dicendo che non ho mai avuto paura nella mia vita di un uomo solo
Ho sempre avuto molta paura dell'uomo organizzato
La solitudine porta anche a delle forme di libertà straordinarie

La solitudine, dicevo, può anche portare a delle forme di grande libertà
È faticosa sicuramente, soprattutto quando la si vive come emarginazione
Non come scelta personale
