قلب تمرس باللذات وهو فتى . كبرعم لمسته الريح فانفتح
مال الاقاحية السمراء قد صرفت عنا هواها . أرق الحسن ما سمح
لو كنت تدرين ما القاه من شجن. لكنت ارفق من آسى ومن صفح
غداة لوحت بالآمال باسمه . لان الذي ثار وانقاد الذي جمح
فالروض مهما زهت قفر اذا حرمت . من جانح رف او من صادح صدح

The swarthy acacia has turned away her love from us. The beauty that is not allowed is the most alluring.
If you only knew what longing I face. You would be more gentle, more forgiving.
The day she waved with her smiling hopes. For the one who rebelled has come around, and the one who ran wild has been tamed.
The garden, however beautiful, is desolate when deprived. Of a fluttering wing or a melodious song.
