Syahadah

Saat lahirku ke dunia
Kalimah pertama
Dibisikkan ke telinga
Itulah detik yang paling
Dinanti seorang ayah
Menyambut lahir zuriatnya

Nyenyaknya tidurku dibuaian ibu
Didodoi kalimah yang sama
PadaMu ya Allah, diakhir hayat ku
Matikanlah aku dalam syahadah

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ

Antara azan ayahanda
Dan dodoian ibunda
Syahadah terungkap sempurna
Keyakinan dihati terlafaz dengan lidah
Mati pun husnul khatimah

Telahku sandarkan seluruh hidupku
Pada cinta yang teragung
Telahku untuhkan jiwa dan ragaku
Menjadi hamba yang taat

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ

Testimony of Faith

When I came into the world
The first word
Was whispered into my ear
That was the moment most
Anticipated by a father
Welcoming the birth of his descendant

Sleeping soundly in my mother's cradle
Rocked by the same words
To You, O God, at the end of my life
Let me die reciting the testimony of faith

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ

Between your father's call to prayer
And your mother's lullaby
The testimony of faith was perfectly recited
Belief in the heart was uttered with the tongue
And death came with a good end

I have placed my entire life
On the greatest love
I have bestowed my soul and body
To be an obedient servant

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
