Wir woll´n den großen Kreis beschreiben
Wenn die Felder golden steh'n

It has been a whole year now
Since I saw you dancing there
Too often in the long night
I have thought of you, my fair
King Summer leads the dance
I follow him in a wreath of bloom
And so our circle turns around
In the old familiar tune
You let your ravens fly away
When the fields are standing gold
And the bright and shining wheel
Turns above Lughnasad bold
Soon the wheel will turn again
Wild storms will blow and moan
Winter draws near with a rough song
Thus the circle starts anew, all along
Come and join us in the dance so bright
We want to describe the great circle's flight
