In Christus ist mein ganzer Halt.

Doch dort am Kreuz,

Sie legten ihn ins kühle Grab.
Dunkel umfing das Licht der Welt.
Doch morgens früh am dritten Tag

Der Tod besiegt, das Grab ist leer,

Denn ich bin sein, und er ist mein.

Nun hat der Tod die Macht verlorn.

In His love I find my hold.

The eternal Word, as man was born,

They laid Him in the cold grave.

Death conquered, the grave is empty,
The curse of sin is no more,
For I am His, and He is mine.
With His blood, He makes me clean.

Now death has lost its power.
I am born again through Christ.
My life lies in His hand from my first breath.
And no power in this world can steal me from Him,
Who holds me.
Until the end of this age,
When He appears in glory.
