Pienso que no pienso en nada, y en la nada me quedé.
Mientras silbo su poesía, mientras le preparo un té,
Corre como corre el río, no hace lo que le conviene
Se recuesta en el vacío si ya nada la detiene.
Quiere mirarte a los ojos y que ya no sientas frío
Quiere pensar en algo y susurrarte al oído
Que ella es quien quiere ser.
No puede dejar de armar solo frases sin sentido.
No puede dejar de amar, siente latido a latido
Que siempre toca a destiempo, que nunca llega el momento.
Con solo mirar afuera, la gente desespera
Que la vida es muy corta para andar perdiendo el tiempo
Que lo que mal acaba, nunca tuvo un buen comienzo
Y que no sabe como perder
Es llanto desconsolado y también la carcajada
Es toda besos y abrazos, y también la cachetada
Fue lo que querían que sea, fue ella misma y fue nadie
Fue la palabra perfecta, y la que menos sabe
Tiene en su haber mil amantes pasajeros
Tiene a todos sus amigos, tiene suerte,
Tiene miedo y solo es quien puede ser...

I think of nothing, and in nothingness I remained.
As I whistle her poetry, as I make her a cup of tea,
Runs like the river runs, does not do what is right for her
Rests in the void if nothing stops her.
She wants to look into your eyes and make you feel warm
She wants to think of something and whisper in your ear
That she is who she wants to be.
She cannot stop putting together only meaningless phrases.
She cannot stop loving, she feels beat by beat
That it always plays at the wrong time, that the moment never comes.
Just by looking outside, people get desperate
That life is too short to waste time
That what ends badly never had a good beginning
And that she does not know how to lose
It is heartbroken crying and also laughter
It is all kisses and hugs, and also the slap
It was what they wanted it to be, it was herself and it was nobody
It was the perfect word, and the one she knows the least
She has a thousand fleeting lovers in her possession
She has all her friends, she is lucky,
She is afraid and she is only who she can be...
