Los sueños son espuma de la mar
Y hay que poner la capa como el viento venga.
El talento trabaja, el genio crea.
No vuelvas nunca al sitio de tus viejas alegrías.

La concordia alimenta, la discordia nos consume.
Ningún hombre es mejor que su conversación.
Una respuesta suave es la cura para la cólera.
Nunca respondas la pregunta que no te hayan hecho.

Si el ánimo se inclina, son los pies los que resbalan.
Cuenta tus penas a ti mismo, tus alegrías al mundo.
Pon las cosas en su sitio que ellas te darán el tuyo.
Depende mucho la felicidad, del movimiento.
Estudia el poder del silencio.

Na de la buena voluntad es la humildad.
La herida que es causada por la lengua es incurable.
Siempre el mejor negocio es terminar contento y
Verdad que hiere es mejor que mentira que te alegra.

Una palabra dicha a su debido tiempo es como
Una manzana de oro en charola de plata.
Un abrazo al encuentro es mejor que al despedirse
Y nunca es tan pequeño el vicio en el que se reincide.
Se piensa en la salida antes de entrar y

Si desgraciadamente tienes que mendigar:
Llama sólo a las puertas de las grandes casas.
Cuando las armas están listas, el buen sentido falta.
El mejor compañero ante la adversidad es un libro.

El final es principio en mi canción.
Los rumores son mentiras a medias.
Y la lengua del sabio está en su corazón
Y el corazón del tonto está en su lengua.

No sé si siempre pasa esto que canto,
Yo lo aprendo en mi libro de los días,
En éste me derrumbo y me levanto,
Para saberlo aún quedará la vida.
