Katanya negeriku kaya raya
Tapi banyak yang teraniaya
Katanya sudah tidak dijajah
Tapi masih banyak orang susah

Kudengar kita bangsa yang ramah
Tapi gemar sekali marah-marah
Konon dipimpin orang-orang hebat
Tapi hobi curi uang rakyat

Kita hidup di negara
Yang jauh dari sempurna
Tapi selama aku bernyawa
'Kan kujaga Indonesia

Orang miskin tidak boleh sakit
Karena birokrasi dipersulit
Orang pandai tak boleh mengkritik
Nanti pencemaran nama baik

Laut dan sawah terhampar luas
Tapi masih impor garam dan beras
Ibu Pertiwi sangatlah indah
Jangan jatuh ke tangan yang salah
