Politiken är svår för förstagångsväljare
Det känns precis som att vi röstar på försäljare
Och är vi ej försiktiga åker vi på en nit
För vad fan vet jag egentligen om allas politik?
Och jag vet att allt är skit och det känns som att dom har släppt det
Men vilket av partierna skulle göra det bättre?
Du borde välja blått, du måste rösta på sossarna

Det är inte alltid lätt med alla färger
Hur ska jag rösta för det bästa för mitt Sverige?
Och visst är det lätt att känna lukten av en stank
Så jag kan på sätt och vis förstå folket som röstar blankt
Att inte använda sin rösträtt är ganska dumt
Så rösta på vad du vill så länge du röstar sunt
För vissa tycker att vi ej har lika värde, det får stå för dom

Jag försöker läsa på men slutar upp med någon valkompass
För när politikerna pratar finns en talkontrast
Som kan förvirra och försätta mig i magont fast

Men håller man ej med så blir det svårt när det är val

Så jag blir stressad för jag måste välja snart

Men så klart ska jag inte dra alla över en kam
För visst finns det många som kan allt i detta land
Men rösta och se vilket parti som flest e
Bara rösten din ej faller på, ja

Politics are difficult for first-time voters,
It feels just like we're voting for salespeople.
And if we're not careful, we'll get stuck with a dud,
Because what the hell do I really know about everyone's politics?
And I know everything's crap and it feels like they've given up on it,
But which of the parties would make it better?
You should vote blue, you have to vote for the Social Democrats,
You should vote for the Left Party, the Moderates are the bosses.
It's not always easy with all the colors,
How should I vote for what's best for my Sweden?
And sure, it's easy to smell a stench,
So I can, in a way, understand the people who vote blank.
Not using your right to vote is pretty stupid,
So vote for what you want as long as you vote wisely,
Because some people think we don't have equal value, that's their problem.
We'll just have to see how it goes, Jimmie Åkesson.

I try to read up on it, but end up with some voting compass,
Because when the politicians talk, there's a contrast in their words,
Which can confuse and give me a stomachache, but
I try to read up on it, but I'd rather read fairy tales, ha.
It may not be wise, it may not be good,
But if you don't agree, it's hard when it's time to vote,
And maybe it's just me who hasn't understood,
But I have no idea what's best between red and blue.
I feel colorblind in situations like these,
Even though I try to sharpen my ears,
So I get stressed because I have to choose soon,
And for me, as a first-time voter, nothing is clear.
But of course I shouldn't lump everyone together,
Because there are certainly many who know everything in this country,
But vote and see which party the most are,
Just don't vote for, yeah.
