Апрельское утро

Следом за бумажным змеем два велосипеда мчатся вниз с горы,
Сквозь цветущие деревья, покидая сонные дворы.
Апрельское утро, трепещущие ленты в волосах,
Расстёгнуты куртки - летят по небу, словно паруса...
Оставлены велосипеды, кеды наспех сброшены во влажной траве.
Наперегонки по склонам вниз к морской прохладной синеве...
Балансируя на узком парапете, бежать на край земли,
Кормить белых чаек, считать на горизонте корабли.
Быть жутко несерьёзными, счастливыми и глупыми вполне,
Но видеть всё намного ярче, ощущать всё в сотни раз сильней...
Пьянящему ветру, солёным брызгам подставлять лицо,
Смеяться, кружиться, раскинуть руки и упасть в песок.
Как легкомысленно и щедро дарит обещания свои весна.
Сулит так много тёплых дней, но этот больше не вернётся к нам...
Поддавшись нахлынувшим чувствам, затихнуть в руке рука...
Глядеть со щемящей грустью на догорающий закат.

April Morning

Following a paper kite, two bicycles race down the hill,
Through blossoming trees, leaving sleepy courtyards still.
An April morning, fluttering ribbons in my hair,
Jackets unzipped - flying through the sky like sails, a pair...
Bicycles abandoned, sneakers hastily kicked off in the damp grass,
Racing down the slopes towards the cool blue sea's embrace...
Balancing on a narrow parapet, running to the edge of the world,
Feeding white gulls, counting ships on the horizon unfurled.
Being terribly unserious, happy and foolish indeed,
But seeing everything much brighter, feeling everything a hundred times more keen...
Turning my face to the intoxicating wind, the salty spray,
Laughing, spinning, spreading my arms and falling into the sand's display.
How frivolously and generously spring gives its promises away,
It promises so many warm days, but this one will never return to stay...
Yielding to the surging feelings, my hand resting quietly in yours,
Gazing with aching sadness at the fading sunset's allure.
