Однажды стрела, что пущена в цель, вернется.
Смертельная рана затянется без следа.
Олень, уснувший в высокой траве, очнется,
Поднимется тихо, скользнет в туманную даль.
Проявятся линии на истлевшей бумаге.
Вернется утраченный смысл, проступят слова.
И там, где безжалостно бури деревья сломали,
Пробьется на ветках сухих молодая листва.
Под слоем ржавчины вскроется дивный орнамент,
Блеснет бирюзой и златом из грязных прорех.
Закружится вихрь с опавшими лепестками,
И снова вернется к цветущему дереву вверх.
Однажды безмолвие светлой строкой обернется.
Слепой старик поднимет к солнцу глаза,
И темные снимет очки, и улыбнется.
И вверх устремится песок в песочных часах.
На плитах гранитных, за далью жемчужной
Ты встретишь меня в своем старом плаще.
И ради нас с тобой будет нарушен
Неизменный порядок вещей.
Исчезнут отметки веков на мраморных статуях.
Оттают мечты, погибшие в лютый мороз.
Замерзшие птицы взлетят над весенней радугой,
И снова станет свечою расплавленный воск.

The Return

One day, the arrow shot towards its target will return.
The mortal wound will heal without a trace.
The deer, slumbering in the tall grass, will awaken,
Rising silently, it will slip into the misty distance.
Lines will appear on the decayed paper.
Lost meaning will return, words will emerge.
And where storms mercilessly broke the trees,
Young leaves will sprout on the dry branches.
Beneath the layer of rust, a wondrous ornament will be revealed,
Shining with turquoise and gold from the dirty gaps.
A whirlwind will dance with fallen petals,
And rise again to the blossoming tree above.
One day, silence will turn into a line of light.
The blind old man will raise his eyes to the sun,
And remove his dark glasses, and smile.
And the sand in the hourglass will flow upwards.
On the granite slabs, beyond the pearly distance
You will meet me in your old cloak.
And for you and me, the
Unchanging order of things will be broken.
The marks of centuries will disappear from the marble statues.
Dreams that perished in the fierce frost will thaw.
Frozen birds will soar above the spring rainbow,
And the melted wax will become a candle once more.
