Тёплые воды

Собираются в стаи киты,
Ожидая на свет потомство.
Они дрейфуют к южным морям…
Как всё в природе разумно и просто!
Небо, воздух и океан –
Им все стихии подвластны
Но что-то зовёт их туда, где тепло,
Туда, где безопасно.
Посреди бескрайних просторов,
Под стынущими облаками
Их ласкают упругие волны
Нежными пенными их гребешками.
Всё в природе так просто,
Всё сдвижется солнцу навстречу,
И ничто не грозит их потомству.
Ведь холод не может быть бесконечным.
Погружаясь и всплывая,
Следуя зову природы,
Обгоняя птичьи стаи,
Они плывут в тёплые воды.
И пряча лицо в ладонях,
Я думаю о завтрашнем дне
И вижу караваны китов
Под свинцовым северным небом.
У них глаза закрыты,
Их мысли ничем не встревожены,
Они плывут, не думая о будущем
И не помня о прошлом.
Погружаясь и всплывая,
Следуя зову природы,
Обгоняя птичьи стаи,
Они плывут в тёплые воды.
И когда одиночество через край
Переполнит уставшее сердце,
Нам снится кем-то обещанный рай –
Место, где мы бы смогли отогреться.
Островок покоя среди хаоса и круговерти,
Там, где кто-нибудь нас укроет
От ледяного дыхания смерти.
Посреди бескрайних просторов,
Под стонущими облаками,
Скользят киты и огромные волны
Рассекают плавниками.
Я плыву вместе с ними,
Преодолев невозможное,
Просто плыву, не думая
О будущем и не помня о прошлом.

Warm Waters

Whales gather in their pods,
Awaiting offspring in the light.
They drift towards the southern seas...
How everything in nature is wise and simple!
Sky, air, and ocean –
All elements are subject to them,
But something calls them where it's warm,
To a place of safety.
Amidst the endless expanses,
Beneath the chilling clouds,
They are caressed by resilient waves
With their gentle foamy crests.
Everything in nature is so simple,
All move towards the sun,
And nothing threatens their offspring.
For the cold cannot be endless.
Diving and surfacing,
Following nature's call,
Overtaking flocks of birds,
They swim to warm waters.
And hiding my face in my palms,
I think about tomorrow
And I see caravans of whales
Under the leaden northern sky.
Their eyes are closed,
Their thoughts are undisturbed,
They swim without thinking of the future
And not remembering the past.
Diving and surfacing,
Following nature's call,
Overtaking flocks of birds,
They swim to warm waters.
And when loneliness overflows
My weary heart,
We dream of a paradise promised by someone –
A place where we could find warmth.
An island of peace amidst chaos and turmoil,
Where someone would shelter us
From the icy breath of death.
Amidst the endless expanses,
Beneath the groaning clouds,
Whales glide and enormous waves
Are cut by their fins.
I swim with them,
Overcoming the impossible,
I simply swim, without thinking
Of the future and not remembering the past.
