We're talking about oppressed peoples
Who are that saying that they must
Assert themselves in the world
We have a great deal to be angry about

But there are things to do
We must make some decisions in this country

Ich bin sehr erfreut, dass
jene Völker in der Welt, denen ich mich am nächsten fühle,
die kolonialen Völker, die afrikanischen Völker, die asiatischen Völker,
in aufständischer Stimmung sind
und dabei sind, die Welt zu verändern,
und ich denke, zum Besseren.
Ich kann Pessimismus in diesem Moment nicht ganz verstehen,
es sei denn, man hängt an Dingen, die aussterben,
die aussterben sollten,
wie der Kolonialismus, wie Rassismus und so weiter.

Für mich ist dies eine der bejahendsten Perioden der Geschichte.

dass Menschen, die gerade erst zu sich selbst finden in der Welt,
so dramatisch wie möglich dabei sein müssen,

Wir sprechen über unterdrückte Völker,
die sagen, dass sie sich
in der Welt behaupten müssen.
Wir haben sehr viel, worüber wir wütend sein sollten.
