I bin Beamter – des is ka Schand
S gibt vül Beamte bei uns im Land
I bin ka Dokter, bin kein Genie
Und trotzdem mach ich a Karriere –
Ja und wissens a wie?

Ich bin im Amt noch kane fünfazwanzig Johre
Ka Protektionskind und von niedriger Geburt
I kann net Englich, net Französisch – Deutsch schon goanet
Aber wen am Oasch lecken, das kann i guat!

I orbeit niemals mit mein Hirn, a net mitn Heazn
I bin net fleißig, nicht gebildet, bin net gscheit
Krank bin ich, vestopft, verschnupft – beim Pudern hab i Schmeazn
Aber wem am Oasch lecken, des macht mir Freid!

In mein ersten Joahr warn's immer so zwei, drei Oasch pro Wochen
Jetzt acht am Tag, an Regentagen zehn
Meist is ja so, ich kumm nur außekrochen
Und seh den nächsten Oasch schon offen vor mir stehn!

Bei uns im Amt gibts so Leit, die müssen jahrelang studieren
Der eine versucht sich's jeden Tag scheißfreundlich, einer ist bös
Mir ist es Wurscht, ich halt auch nix vom Intrigieren –
I komm mitn Oaschlecken in medias res!

Die Jugend hat halt heute für sowas goar kan Sinn
Bevor's an Oasch nur anschaun, studiern's erst Medizin
Vü zu ehrgeizig sans olle, vü zu forsch
Wolln gleich den Kissinger oder sonst an hochen Oasch!

I hab ja angfangt im Büro bei den Kopisten
Und bin in drei Jahrn zum Sektionschef avanciert –
In jedem Amt gibt's heutzutage Spezialisten
I war auf's Oaschlecken spezialisiert!

Hab mich naturgemäß zuerst mit Innenpolitik beschäftigt
War dann im Außenamt ein sehr begehrter Mann –
Jetzt werd ich Außenminister, denn ich hab bekräftigt
Dass ich auf ausländisch oaschlecken kann!

Und so Gott will, wird ich auch einmal Präsident sein
Dann bin ich sozusagen die oberste Instanz
Dann kann ich stolz und voll Vertraun am anderen End sein
Mit meinem eignen Oasch zum Wohl des Vaterlands!

Doch bis dahin bleib ich im Osten wie im Westen
Bei hoch und niedrig, oam und reich von vorn und hint
In den Gewerkschaften, Betrieben in Palästen –
Die Hauptsach ist, dass man schon jung damit beginnt!
Doch bei Politikern, da leckt es sich am besten
Weil das die größten Oaschlöcher sind!

The Civil Servant

I'm a civil servant – there's no shame in that
There are many civil servants in our country
I'm no doctor, no genius
And yet I'm making a career –
Do you know how?

I've been in the office for less than twenty-five years
No protégé and of humble birth
I can't speak English or French – or even German
But when it comes to licking ass, I'm good at it!

I never work with my mind or my heart
I'm not diligent, not educated, not clever
I'm sick, constipated, have a cold – I'm in pain when I pee
But that makes me happy when I lick someone's ass!

In my first year, there were always two or three asses a week
Now it's eight a day, ten on rainy days
Most of the time, I just crawl out
And see the next ass already open in front of me!

In our office there are people who have to study for years
One tries to be friendly every day, one is angry
It doesn't matter to me, I don't like to intrigue either –
I get to the heart of the matter by licking ass!

Today's youth have no sense for such things
Before they just look at an ass, they first study medicine
They're all too ambitious, too forward
They want the Kissinger or some other high-ranking ass right away!

I started out in the office as a copyist
And was promoted to section head in three years –
There are specialists in every office today
I specialized in ass-licking!

Naturally, I first got involved in domestic politics
Then I was a very sought-after man in the foreign office –
Now I'm going to be foreign minister, because I've confirmed
That I can lick ass in foreign languages!

And God willing, I will one day be president
Then I'm the top dog, so to speak
Then I can proudly and confidently hold my own
With my own ass for the good of the fatherland!

But until then I will remain in the East and in the West
With high and low, rich and poor, from front and back
In the trade unions, factories, palaces –
The main thing is to start with it when you're young!
But with politicians, that's where it's best to lick
Because they're the biggest assholes!
