Wenn ich mal spät nach Hause kam und fragte: "War es schön?"
Ich wußte ganz genau:
Sie hatte weinend einen traurig schönen Film geseh'n.

Sie fuhr mit meinem Wagen aus
Und dann kam sie zu Fuß nach Haus' und sagte: "Pech!"

Doch plötzlich ja da merkte ich.
Sie weinte still und quälte sich, wenn ich es grad' nicht sah.
