أودُ أن أبكي، و ثَغرُكِ يَبسِمُ

و إن كنتِ مُسلمهً. فأختُكِ مَريمُ
و أن قَصدتِ الحج سُنَهَ مؤمنٍ فسترينني في مكهِ اتعِمَمُ.
و إذا صعدتي الي السماءِ فالي السماءِ.
و إن هبطي جِهنمَ... فجهنمُ هي المَصير.
خِلتُ أني اذا بعدتُ سأنسَاها... و يطوي الزَمانُ سِر هواها.
و تَوهمتُ أني سوف ألقي الف ليلي و الف هَندً سواها.
