God, existing in the midst of nothing,
Longed to love and to be loved.
So the Creator fashioned mankind in His own image,
And they experienced joy,
As they fellowship together there in the garden.

But being tempted mankind sinned,
God said, "I will put enmity between Thee and the woman,
And between Thy seed and her seed;
And He shall bruise His heel,
But He shall bruise Your head."
This is our hope, the Gospel.

Allow me to share a story for you,
A story that you've heard before;
Its message is old and the only thing changed,
Is a life that's been changed by its power.

The Gospel, God's mercy and grace,
The Gospel, God's power over death and the grave;
It's the answer for every man's soul,
It's the Good News to all its the Gospel.

A lost dying soul with no hope at all,
And a God who would give everything;
A distance between because of the fall;
And the Savior who died to redeem.

Gott, existierend inmitten des Nichts,

Aber in Versuchung geführt, sündigte die Menschheit,
Gott sagte: "Ich werde Feindschaft setzen zwischen dir und der Frau,

Das ist unsere Hoffnung, das Evangelium.
