I look and look again, but
the broken eyes I used to see with
are becoming more and more numerous,
as much as the images I’m occupied by,
I become more and more useless, and
I go and go, but
I keep getting farther and farther away,
the beauty that’s become old and obsolete,
the beauty that’s been banished,
is my very own fire.
What’s left?
