Maut nu maasi aakhan waala, aazadi da yaar

Papi aen tu papi singha eh ki kita tu
Kes kataye des lai main sir katvauna baaki ae
Gustakhi di maafi chahuna, sahib de darbaar

Vaarr khet nu khavan laggi kaun karu rakhwaali
Chaavaan de rukh laavan waale, dhuppe baithe maali
Dharam yog vich dharam yog hai, eh Gita da saar

Eh gore angrezo lai jaayo wapis tambu taane
Is darkhej mitti di kukh vich khopriyaan na beejo

Our talk is of love, do not misunderstand love
Do not do oppression, do not tolerate oppression, think of the good of all
