Národ holubičí
Nad Tatrou sa blýska hromy divo bijú
A tak sa chlapci pod Tatrami s dievčatami skryjú
Tam sa miluju, chilluju, tancujú a smejú
Vtáci létajú, ryby plávajú, slováci pijú.
Od Tater k Dúnaju spievajú o tom čo majú a nemajú
A že se nedajú, nehrajú, nezapredajú
A dúfajú, že stále stúpajú no nezabůdajú,
že padajú no vstávajú len keď sa spájajú.
Viac ako iba sól a chleba slovanstvo je cela veda
Spolu silny sám nikdo neznamena veľa
A pre mňa pohan ako kresťan neverim v boha
čo ťa trestá,
Verim v človeka chcem ho prebrať šanca dá sa prespať.
To Slovensko naše posial tvrdo spalo,
Tak tvrdo že z neho už vela nezostalo,
Kto ho zobudi keď nie tie blesky hromu,
... a pozri sa čo sa nam to stalo,

Len pokym sa ta holubica neopiči(jeje.)

To srdce Európy nikdo nezničí(jeje.)
Dlho sme tancovali, tak ako iní hrali
Nerozmyšlali, spali, dokym nás z kože drali
Roky nás utlačali aj tak nas nedostali
Kym jedni lamentovali, tak iní vrabcovali
Obetovali život zemi ktorú milovali aby sme tu pokoj mali, sami si gazdovali.
Na tomto kúsku raja matka gaja vždycky bola
Tá ktorej poďakovali lebo z nej život brali
No zobrali len koľko potrebovali a siali
S laskou žiali, tvorili a deti odchovali
Zachovali svoje zvyky ďalej tradovali
Aj ked cudzie vlajky viali nikdy neumlčali
Túžbu po slobode, kto za pravdu horí
Vie že zajtra bude lepšie aj ked dnes to bolí
Ideály boli no špina na ne sadá

Thunder rumbles above Tatra
So boys and girls take cover beneath
There they make love, chill, dance, and laugh
Birds fly, fish swim, Slovaks drink.
From Tatra to Danube they sing of what they have and what they don't
And that they will not give in, they will not play, they will not sell out
And they hope they keep rising but don't forget,
that they fall but rise only when they unite.
More than just salt and bread Slavic is a whole science
Together strong alone nothing means much
And for me pagan like a Christian I don't believe in a god
that punishes you,
I believe in man I want to wake him up the chance can be missed.
Our dear Slovakia has been sleeping soundly,
So deeply that not much remains,
Who will wake it if not lightning and thunder,
... and look what happened to us,

We danced for long, played like others
We didn't think, we slept, until we were robbed
For years they oppressed us but still they didn't break us
While some lamented others profited
They sacrificed their lives for the land they loved so that we could have peace, they managed themselves
On this piece of paradise Mother Earth was always present
She whom they thanked for they took life from her
But they took only as much as they needed and they sowed
With love and sorrow, they created and raised children
They preserved their customs and passed them on
Even when foreign flags flew they never fell silent
The desire for freedom, who burns for the truth
He knows that tomorrow will be better even if it hurts today
There were ideals but dirt is covering them
