Es ist vier Uhr morgens und ich liege mit meinem Kopf an die Toilettenschüssel gelehnt.

Ich fühle mich wie ein Monster.
Und es hilft nicht, dass du mich behandelst, als hätte ich Gift in meinen Zähnen.

Denn ich bin die Spinne in deinem Badezimmer.
Ich bin der Schatten auf der Fliese.
Ich kam, um Schutz vor der Kälte zu suchen.
Und ich dachte, ich würde eine Weile bleiben.
Ich bin nur klein, ich bin nur schwach.
Und du erschrickst bei meinem Anblick.
Du wirst mich töten, wenn ich es am wenigsten erwarte.
Gott, wie konnte ich es überhaupt wagen, zu existieren?
