श्रीगुरु चरन सरोज रज निज मनु मुकुरु सुधारि ।
बरनउँ रघुबर बिमल जसु जो दायकु फल चारि ॥
बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौं पवन कुमार
बल बुधि विद्या देहु मोहि, हरहु कलेश विकार

जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुन सागर
जय कपीस तिहुँ लोक उजागर॥१॥
राम दूत अतुलित बल धामा
अंजनि पुत्र पवनसुत नामा॥२॥
महाबीर बिक्रम बजरंगी
कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी॥३॥
कंचन बरन बिराज सुबेसा
कानन कुंडल कुँचित केसा॥४॥
हाथ बज्र अरु ध्वजा बिराजे
काँधे मूँज जनेऊ साजे॥५॥
शंकर सुवन केसरी नंदन
तेज प्रताप महा जगवंदन॥६॥
विद्यावान गुनी अति चातुर
राम काज करिबे को आतुर॥७॥
प्रभु चरित्र सुनिबे को रसिया
राम लखन सीता मनबसिया॥८॥
सूक्ष्म रूप धरि सियहि दिखावा
विकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा॥९॥
भीम रूप धरि असुर सँहारे
रामचंद्र के काज सवाँरे॥१०॥
लाय सजीवन लखन जियाए
श्री रघुबीर हरषि उर लाए॥११॥
रघुपति कीन्ही बहुत बड़ाई
तुम मम प्रिय भरत-हि सम भाई॥१२॥
सहस बदन तुम्हरो जस गावै
अस कहि श्रीपति कंठ लगावै॥१३॥
सनकादिक ब्रह्मादि मुनीसा
नारद सारद सहित अहीसा॥१४॥
जम कुबेर दिगपाल जहाँ ते
कवि कोविद कहि सके कहाँ ते॥१५॥
तुम उपकार सुग्रीवहि कीन्हा
राम मिलाय राज पद दीन्हा॥१६॥
तुम्हरो मंत्र बिभीषण माना
लंकेश्वर भये सब जग जाना॥१७॥
जुग सहस्त्र जोजन पर भानू
लिल्यो ताहि मधुर फ़ल जानू॥१८॥
प्रभु मुद्रिका मेलि मुख माही
जलधि लाँघि गए अचरज नाही॥१९॥
दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते
सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते॥२०॥
राम दुआरे तुम रखवारे
होत ना आज्ञा बिनु पैसारे॥२१॥
सब सुख लहैं तुम्हारी सरना
तुम रक्षक काहु को डरना॥२२॥
आपन तेज सम्हारो आपै
तीनों लोक हाँक तै कापै॥२३॥
भूत पिशाच निकट नहि आवै
महावीर जब नाम सुनावै॥२४॥
नासै रोग हरे सब पीरा
जपत निरंतर हनुमत बीरा॥२५॥
संकट तै हनुमान छुडावै
मन क्रम वचन ध्यान जो लावै॥२६॥
सब पर राम तपस्वी राजा
तिनके काज सकल तुम साजा॥२७॥
और मनोरथ जो कोई लावै
सोई अमित जीवन फल पावै॥२८॥
चारों जुग परताप तुम्हारा
है परसिद्ध जगत उजियारा॥२९॥
साधु संत के तुम रखवारे
असुर निकंदन राम दुलारे॥३०॥
अष्ट सिद्धि नौ निधि के दाता
अस बर दीन जानकी माता॥३१॥
राम रसायन तुम्हरे पासा
सदा रहो रघुपति के दासा॥३२॥
तुम्हरे भजन राम को पावै
जनम जनम के दुख बिसरावै॥३३॥
अंतकाल रघुवरपुर जाई
जहाँ जन्म हरिभक्त कहाई॥३४॥
और देवता चित्त ना धरई
हनुमत सेई सर्व सुख करई॥३५॥
संकट कटै मिटै सब पीरा
जो सुमिरै हनुमत बलबीरा॥३६॥
जै जै जै हनुमान गुसाईँ
कृपा करहु गुरु देव की नाई॥३७॥
जो सत बार पाठ कर कोई
छूटहि बंदि महा सुख होई॥३८॥
जो यह पढ़े हनुमान चालीसा
होय सिद्ध साखी गौरीसा॥३९॥
तुलसीदास सदा हरि चेरा
कीजै नाथ हृदय मह डेरा॥४०॥

पवन तनय संकट हरन, मंगल मूरति रूप।
राम लखन सीता सहित, हृदय बसहु सुर भूप॥

Hanuman Chalisa - Studio

I bow the lotus feet of the guru, which have the ability to purify my mind like camphor.
I sing the glory of the immaculate Raghubir, the bestower of four rewards.
Knowing my body to be devoid of intellect, I meditate upon the son of the wind.
Give me strength, intellect, knowledge and a healthy body, and remove my afflictions and vices.
Verse
Glory to Hanuman, who is an ocean of knowledge and virtue,
Glory to the mighty monkey, who is the illuminator of the three worlds. (1)
The messenger of Rama is the abode of immeasurable strength,
The son of Anjani and the son of the wind. (2)
The brave, valiant and fierce Hanuman,
The destroyer of evil thoughts and the companion of good thoughts. (3)
His complexion is golden and his attire is beautiful,
With earrings in his ears and curly hair. (4)
A thunderbolt and a flag adorn his hand,
And a sacred thread of munja grass adorns his shoulder. (5)
The son of Kesari, the beloved of Shankara,
Whose glory and magnificence are adored by the world. (6)
He is learned, wise and very intelligent,
And eager to do the work of Rama. (7)
He is a devotee who loves to hear the stories of the Lord,
And Rama, Lakshmana and Sita reside in his heart. (8)
He assumed a tiny form to show himself to Sita,
And assumed a fierce form to burn Lanka. (9)
He assumed a fearsome form to kill the demons,
And fulfilled the mission of Ramachandra. (10)
He brought the life-giving herb and revived Lakshmana,
And Shri Raghubir was overjoyed and embraced him. (11)
Raghupati praised him greatly,
Saying, "You are as dear to me as my brother Bharata." (12)
You have thousands of mouths that sing your praises,
So said the Lord and embraced him. (13)
Sanaka and other sages, Brahma and other gods,
Narada, Saraswati and the serpent king Adisesha, (14)
Yama, Kubera and the guardians of the directions,
Poets and scholars, how can they describe you? (15)
You helped Sugriva,
And reunited him with Rama and gave him kingship. (16)
Vibhishana accepted your counsel,
And became the king of Lanka, as the whole world knows. (17)
The sun is ten thousand yojanas away,
But you swallowed it thinking it was a sweet fruit. (18)
You placed the Lord's ring in your mouth,
And crossed the ocean, which is no wonder. (19)
Whatever difficult tasks there are in the world,
They become easy by your grace. (20)
You are the gatekeeper of Rama's door,
And no one can enter without your permission. (21)
All happiness is obtained by taking refuge in you,
You are the protector, why should anyone be afraid? (22)
You control your own power,
And the three worlds tremble at your roar. (23)
Ghosts and goblins do not come near,
When you utter the name of the great hero. (24)
Diseases are destroyed and all pains are relieved,
By constantly chanting the name of Hanuman, the hero. (25)
Hanuman delivers from all troubles,
To those who meditate on him with mind, speech and action. (26)
Rama is the king of all ascetics,
And you fulfill all his tasks. (27)
Whatever other wishes one makes,
They also get the infinite fruit of life. (28)
Your glory is spread over all four ages,
And is famous in the whole world. (29)
You are the protector of saints and sages,
And the destroyer of demons, the beloved of Rama. (30)
You are the giver of eight siddhis and nine treasures,
Such a boon was given by Mother Janaki. (31)
The nectar of Rama is with you,
May you always remain a servant of Raghupati. (32)
By chanting your name, one attains Rama,
And forgets the sorrows of countless lives. (33)
At the end of life, go to Raghupur,
Where you are said to be born as a devotee of Hari. (34)
I do not pay attention to other gods,
Hanuman alone gives all happiness. (35)
Troubles are removed and all pains are relieved,
For those who remember Hanuman, the mighty hero. (36)
Hail, hail, hail Hanuman, the Lord,
Have mercy on me, as if I were your guru. (37)
He who recites this seven hundred times,
Will be released from prison and will be very happy. (38)
He who reads this Hanuman Chalisa,
Will be successful, as Gauri has witnessed. (39)
Tulsidas is always a servant of Hari,
Oh Lord, make your abode in my heart. (40)
