Der cehan-e aşegan efsane-im
Evveli hod ra be şem' nezdik kerd

Sevvomi hod dahel-e ateş fekend
Ari ari in boved mena'ye eşg
Ey ruz ber-a ke zerre-ha regs konend
An kes ke ez-u çerh-o heva regs konend
Canha ze hoş-i bi ser-o pa regs konend
Der guş-e to guyem ke koca regs konend
Her zerre ke der heva ve der hamun est
Niku neger-eş ke hemço ma meftun est
Her zerre eğer hoş est eğer mehzun est
Sergeşte-ye horşid-e hoş-e biç un est

Poem of the butterflies

I stand like a butterfly before your beauty's decree,
A legend of love I am in the world of lovers' glee.
The first fluttered near the flame with eagerness bold,
Saying, "Lo, I have found the meaning of love's untold."
The second hovered o'er the flame, with wings outspread,
Uttering, "I am consumed in love's fiery bed."
The third plunged into the fire, with fearless delight,
Crying, "This is the essence of love's fervent light."
Oh, day is breaking, the atoms dance in glee,
He who dances with the universe and the sky so free,
Spreads his wings in boundless joy, from head to knee,
In the corner of your ear, I whisper tenderly,
Every atom, in air and dust, you see,
Look closely, my love, for they are enchanted like me,
Each atom, whether joyous or in misery,
Roams astray in the sun's delightful ecstasy.
