Je me vois déjà
Cocktail, eau turquoise, et plage privée
Un pied hors de l'airbus
Je me sens chez moi
Les yeux sur le paysage rivé
Un gosse m'offre un collier de fleurs
D'autres tendent simplement la main pour un bak chich
Je croise leurs regard dans le rétroviseur
Mais je suis déjà loin dans mon taxi
Je ne parle aucun langage
Et évite tout contact avec l'autochtone
Rêve de voir la faune local en cage
Excepté quelques amazones
Bientôt le soleil tape
Il fait trop chaud
Trop humide
Et je me rapelle ces recommandations
Trop d'exposition au soleil accentue les rides
Alors je pousse ma climatisation

L'eau n'est pas potable

Promis, l'année prochaine on y va entre potes

Others simply hold out their hands for a bakshish
I meet their gaze in the rearview mirror
But I'm already far away in my taxi
I don't speak any language
And I avoid any contact with the locals
Dream of seeing the local wildlife in a cage
Except for a few Amazonian women
Soon the sun is beating down
It's too hot
Too humid

Too much sun exposure makes wrinkles worse

You indulge your vices far from paranoia for a few bills and without hiding

Back in Paris, I organize a slide show evening
And I tell a lot of anecdotes
There Pedro and I are drinking coconut milk
I promise next year we'll go with friends
