My father, who has been out for a walk, returns with his hands full of

My mother's busyness as she prepares breakfast,
And my son's laziness as he sluggishly looks for cold water,
The refreshing and clean fragrance of the morning,
And the appetizing smell of rice cooking,
Autumn mornings are truly a great joy to me.

To me, who used to grumble,
Gazing at the blue sky, I take a deep breath,
My heart feels as vast and comfortable as the lofty sky.
In the empty sky, a single dragonfly
Flies haphazardly, as if not fully awake.

The occasional chime of the grandfather clock,
And the clamor of my noisy nephews,
