Para que nuestro país, siga perdiendo la fama
Y lleguemos a otra parte, y nos miren como alimañas
Mientras que ustedes si llegan
Y hasta les tienden la cama
Porque aquí si hay sociedad
Sin mezquindad y educada
Que recibe al visitante no importa de donde vaya
Si en otra nación delinquen, de ellos no se dice nada
Nos marcaron fue a nosotros, como oveja descarriada

De lo que todo el mundo habla
Nombrando solo unas cosas para que agachen la cara

En América Latina, zona tórrida nos marca
Tenemos todos los climas, cordilleras y montañas
También hermosos nevados, mares ríos y cañadas
Petróleo por cantidad en Casanare y Arauca
Reserva en La Macarena, y en la Orinoquía encantada
Extensas ganaderías en el Meta y sus planadas
Allá en Antioquia también, en la Costa y la Dorada
Se exporta hacia el exterior carne de muy buenas razas
Tenemos lindas mujeres, no debemos envidarlas
De sentimientos muy sanos, bellas como la esmeralda
Que en el seno de Boyacá, se encuentran amamantadas
Y en pureza y caridad ninguno nos da la talla

Tenemos la mejor flor, con aroma delicada
Que en fragancia y en color
Ningún otro no la gana
Buen café de exportación en el Huila y viejo Caldas
Y en casi toda Colombia
Hay su semilla regada

Pero nos tienen jodidos, con esta maldita fama
Aquí tenemos ciclistas, padrotes pa' las montañas
Los que en tierras europeas, han hecho grandes hazañas
Ahora qué dice el fútbol, lo llevamos hasta Italia
A codearse con los duros, que en el mundo tienen fama
Y no le quedamos cortos
Les competimos con ganas
Aquí tenemos también mares con hermosas playas
Islas como San Andrés, Providencia y otras tantas
Que nos atraen turistas, de otras naciones hermanas
Entonces yo no me explico
Por qué tanta pendejada
El problema de la droga es cuestión de analizarla
Pues no solamente aquí se cultiva y se prepara
Esto es problema mundial, que a todos nos acorrala
Si se detiene el consumo, pues la exportación se acaba
Pero si éste se sigue, hay más conciencias compradas
Donde hay dinero hay poder, no hay leyes capacitadas
Por qué es que nos gusta a todos
Dejémonos de bobadas
Un amigo vende a otro ya no hay respeto de nada
Ni los hijos con los padres, ni los hombres con las damas
Ya no se escucha el consejo del abuelo con sus canas
Vamos de mal en peor, llevando esta encrucijada
Por eso mejor me voy, trochando por la sabana
Contemplando la belleza, del nuevo sol que se marcha
Esperando a ver un día, más libre a mi hermosa patria
El cuatro es mi confidente, arpa un telar de nostalgia
