σιγα τον ανεμο που'χει πως κανεις ετσι γελαγε

και η μια εβλεπε τα κλαδιά στο εδαφος να ακουμπαν
η αλλη λευκα απτοητη μαν δεν κουνιοταν καν

A Poplar's Apogee

2 poplars conversed, the wind blew like the devil
one sat still, the other struggled in the gale
and bent with the gusts as the other berated her
Quiet, what a wind, how you're acting, she mocked

and one watched her branches touch the ground
the other poplar undaunted, hardly moved
