Tak dalej już nie może być!
Czymże ja biedna zawiniłam

Walka o bułkę na śniadanie

Potem siedziałam na UB,

Mam sił, żeby dojść do parafii...
Nie spełnia nam się tutaj nic
Wtedy, gdy się powinno spełnić!
Czy warto po to tylko żyć,
Żeby się o tym upewnić

What have I done wrong, poor me
That I don't want to live any more
In this country that I fought for.
I've truly had enough of everything.
Fighting for a loaf of bread for breakfast
And all-consuming anger -
But after all, I survived the Uprising!
Then I was imprisoned at the UB,
I prayed that they would all go to hell
But now I don't even
Have the strength to go to church...
Nothing that should come true does
When it should!
Is it worth living only
To make sure of this?
