Vybíhá potok z břehů svých
Usychá listí na větvích
A stoupá dým,
Z živých stromů stoupá k nebi dým.

Propast je úkryt neznámý,

Stoupá dým z hranic osamění,
Pevný, chladný dým,
Opouštějícím i opouštěným

Kde důvod k rozchodu není,
Kde důvod je pádný smíření sílu dát.

Chtěla bys sílu žuly znát,

The abyss is a hidden shelter,
