A Transparent Answer

My days aren't exactly turbulent,
They just pass me by like a gentle stream.
I sit in my seat, lost in thought,
"Now, what about you? Let's see what you've got."
Tempting me again,
Textbooks with no numbers whispering secrets. Ah
As for my performance, well,
It's not too shabby, I suppose.
I receive a recycled paper with three digits,

It's futile to try to match answers now,

I mutter, knowing it's a ridiculous thought.
My days continue to pass by in a blur,
But your absence is like a jarring chord.
Well, whatever. The test I'm taking tomorrow
Will probably yield the same old results. Sigh.
