El cuento es muy sencillo
Usted nace en su tiempo
Contempla atribulado
El rojo azul del cielo
El pájaro que emigra
Y el temerario insecto
Que será pisoteado
Por su zapato nuevo
Usted sufre de veras
Reclama por comida
Y por deber ajeno
O acaso por rutina
Llora limpio de culpas
Benditas o malditas
Hasta que llega el sueño
Y lo descalifica
Usted se transfigura
Ama casi hasta el colmo
Logra sentirse eterno
De tanto y tanto asombro
Pero las esperanzas
No llegan al otoño
