El buen fogonero
También quedó muerto

Buscando al agente

Lo encontramos moribundo,

"Cervezas heladas...",
Se fue para el otro mundo.
Los pocos supervivientes

Llegó la Cruz Roja,

Pa' auxiliar a los heridos
Y allí se encontraron

De miedo ya habían corrido.

Salieron huyendo
En tan críticos instantes,

Que lo han encontrado
Cuatro leguas adelante.
En una zanja los muertos
Solitos se iban echando

Llegó en un fotingo
Don Maximiliano,
Que era entonces gobernante,
Y vio entre los muertos
A un pobre gendarme
Gritando. "Alto y adelante".

Los zopilotes estaban
