The Yellow Door

Through the window pane, a deer gifts me a flower,
On my sofa, an angel joins me for tea,
Of the myriad souls in the world, none understand,
Surprised by this dreamer’s plight,
Solitude is not so frightening, it fills me with flowers,
It’s not all that bad.

Let the dinosaurs march across the table,
My wardrobe hides a secret garden,
The boy I adore is always by my side,
My dreams are not so far from reality,
Life is not always a paradise,
But I can create and manifest my own.

Let the rainbow bridge extend infinitely,
I fly like a bird, performing in the clouds,
Fantasy and reality intertwine,
Within the yellow door of my heart,
I’ve kept that rocket, unlaunched.

Stars twinkle like fireworks on the ceiling,
In my pocket, I carry the crescent moon,
My creations are seen as illusions by others,
