Where was God on that day of trouble
Where was He who could save me from pain
How could He leave me all alone
Where was God on that God forsaken day?
Well He was there walking among that Rubble
But did you see Him lifting you
Had you trusted Him, then you might have known
He was there to see you through

He walks besides you thick or thin

Why hast thou forsaken me
In that darkest hour on the cross
He was there to set us free
So when life throws all it has at you
Think of how He suffered too
Trust in God when all seems to be lost
Look around and He's walking with you

denke daran, wie auch Er gelitten hat.
Vertraue auf Gott, wenn alles verloren scheint.
Schau dich um, und Er geht mit dir.
