Lange erwartet und mit Spannung herbeigesehnt
Ist der Tag, an dem ich zurückblicken und dem lieben Gott danken kann, dass ich es geschafft habe.
Aber dann denke ich mir, was bedeutet es wirklich, es zu schaffen?
Was ist mein Erfolgsniveau und wer ist derjenige, der es bewertet?
Siehst du, ich will das Leben nicht nur damit verbringen, auf das Ende zu warten.
Nein, ich will gut leben, mich hervortun und wachsen, das sage ich dir.
Ich will das Leben in vollen Zügen genießen, während manche warten und vor sich hin vegetieren – ich sage, Unsinn, das ist töricht.
Siehst du, über die Jahre habe ich nun verstanden, dass niemand es besser für mich richten kann als Gott.
Also werde ich auf keinen Menschen warten, nur auf Dich, Gott.
Ich werde nichts verbergen, denn du kannst durch meine Fassade sehen.
Also hat es keinen Sinn, etwas vorzuspielen, ich komme, wie ich bin.
Auch wenn die Welt es nicht tut, Jahwe, du verstehst.
Also gebe ich dir alles, jeden Aspekt und jedes Element, glückliche Anlässe bis hin zur verschwendeten Zeit,
