Птицы из чащи в чудесном полёте
Спешат в эту ночь к колыбели святой.

Скажи, о пернатых, зачем в этот час
В хлев этот бедный стремитесь скорей?
Мчимся мы к Царственному Младенцу в пыли,
Чтоб песни свои подарить Ей.
