也许因为甜头刚入口

上山的路可能永远没有尽头
来探路的永远不知疲倦
动力来自于山顶上的一切

At the Foot of the Mountain

Clambering up the giant's shoulder, I brought you to the foot of the mountain,
We've been walking for half a day and haven't even reached the halfway point.
If climbing a mountain means constantly taking detours,
With clouds and fog swirling, bad weather constantly interfering.

But even if you climb to the top of the mountain, it's not that high,
After passing the old pass, you'll encounter new troubles.
When you cross the next step, the next turn,
You'll find that each mountain is higher than the last, only after surpassing them can you see.

Wanting to climb the high mountain to see a thousand miles,
Looking back, you've traveled more than a thousand miles.
How come the higher you climb, the foggier it gets?
You might as well ask yourself why you're going all out.

Maybe because the sweetness has just entered your mouth,
Maybe because ambition is like strong alcohol,
Maybe because people always want to climb higher,
Maybe the things you want most aren't everywhere.

I still don't understand what success is,
But it sounds like something that people would be obsessed with,
Humans are a species that will never be satisfied,
Like the saying, "Only the sky is the limit".

The path up the mountain may never end,
Those who come to explore are always tireless.
Motivation comes from everything on the top of the mountain,
And what's underfoot.

As you climb higher and higher,
The steps under your feet become more and more unsteady.
Thinking that you can only see far if you stand high,
So that you can have early warning.

So everyone tightens their belts,
Treating the top of the mountain as the ultimate goal,
In order to get a ticket to a perfect life,
To have both poetry and bread.
