En la puerta de un palacio un pobre niño mendigaba

The Alms

At the door of a palace a poor boy begs
I am hungry, I am cold, have pity on me

His frail little body that was flesh of orphanage

And they passed selfishly without looking at the poor boy

Like a whip it reached the soul of the minor
Another beggar passed by, a beggar of experience
An old man who knew how to ask and seeing the boy
