They measure their consequences
Thousands are already asking for more
While thousands of others don't even chase after their dreams
They fall into conformism and mediocrity
Lack of perspective makes them believe that no one does anything here
In this country full of beauty and poverty
Girls create fantasies that reject their true selves
Covered in uncertainties, they feel trapped and frightened
They hide their intelligence dreaming of being like royalty

She is accustomed to a routine that never changes
On her knees and with closed eyes she asks a saint for help
To give insight and wisdom to her youngest daughter
She wears a tight skirt, high heels and a tiny blouse
Feeling mature and ashamed of her dark skin
She is disappointed by her reflection in the mirror
And she wants to look like the golden model
