Την κράτησα για λίγο στα χέρια μου
Και κοιμηθήκαμε και οι δύο εξουθενωμένες

Katerina was my second child
She came to life on Easter Tuesday, in the afternoon
It was a difficult birth, she was born weighing 4 kilos
She was bright red in the face and had black, curly hair
Everyone said she looked like me
But I saw her father in her face
I held her in my arms for a moment
And we both fell asleep, exhausted
