Kinderchens, seid nicht dumm,
Lauft nicht lange ledig rum.
Heiraten ist manchmal schön,
Ich hab's neulich erst geseh'n.
Zickenschulze aus Bernau
Nahm sich schon die vierte Frau.
Und so hab'n wir dann die Nacht
Auch der Hochzeit mitgemacht.
Ach, wie war es da gemütlich,
Haben wir uns wohlgefühlt,
Gegessen und getrunken
Und auch verrückt gespielt.
Geknutscht mit kleinen Mädchen,
Getanzt mit schönen Frau'n,
Und zwischendurch da hab'n sich
Auch mal ein paar gehau'n.
Schulzens Tante Lieselott
Fiel'n die Zähne ins Kompott,
Und ihr Mann aß seinen Fisch
Halb im Dusel unterm Tisch.
Und ich hab mir unentdeckt
Zwölf Zigarren eingesteckt.
Gerne hätt ich ja noch mehr,
Bloß die Kiste, die war leer.
Schulzens Schwiegermutter
Steppte mit Herrn Bock,
Und verlor dabei ihr'n wollnen Unterrock.
Und der Großvater hat wie verrückt gejapst
Und dabei ist ihm die Hosennaht geplatzt.
Bei der Hochzeitstafel dann
Fing der Feez erst richtig an.
Denn der Klempnermeister Rau,
Der war schon gehörig blau.
Dauernd schrie er hoppsassa -
Spiel'n sie mal "Valenzia"!
Olle, komm, du kannst was lern,
Ich tanz jetzt mit dir modern.
Da wollt er rechts rum tanzen,
Da hat es nicht geklappt.
Da wollt er's links probieren,
Da hat er Pech gehabt.
Ein Blech mit Pflaumenkuchen,
Schön delikat und frisch,
Blieb ihm am Gehrock hängen
Und fiel dabei vom Tisch.
In demselben Augenblick
Rutscht der Klempner dann zurück
Übern Pflaumenkuchen aus
Und macht Marmelade draus.
Haut er dann im Angstgefühl,
Weil er sich wo halten will,
Einem Kellner, der da stand,
Einen vollen Milchtopf aus der Hand.
Und die ganze Milch
- Es war direkt zum Schreien-
Floß der Klempnersfrau
In'n Busenausschnitt rein.
Und ich fand das gar nicht mal verkehrt,
Denn die Milch, die wußte, wo sie hingehört.
Nach dem Pflaumenkuchenfall
Gab's ein anderen Krawall:
Zicken-Schulze schrie vor Schreck,
Kinder, meine Frau ist weg!

Und dann suchten alle Mann,
Und im Garten war sie dann,
Wo sie heimlich ungeniert,
Mit dem Schwager rumpoussiert!
Voller Wut nach Zicken-Schulze
Eine Latte von dem Zaun
Und hat damit den Schwager
Und auch die Frau verhau'n.
Und alle Hochzeitsgäste,
Die nahmen nun Partei
Und binnen zwei Minuten,
Da gabs die schönste Keilerei.
Als ich nun sah, wie alles knufft,
Denk ich: Hier ist dicke Luft!
Und ich schlängelt mir wie'n Aal
Seitlich-rückwärts in den Saal,
Vorsichtshalber an die Wand,
Wo das volle Bierfaß stand.
Und ich dachte, haut euch man,
Ich fang hier zu picheln an.
Doch bald herrschte wieder
Einigkeit im Saal.
Und nun freu'n sich alle
Schon aufs nächste Mal.

Wenn sich Zicken-Schulze
Wieder scheiden läßt,
Kinderchen's, denn gibt's
Nochmal so'n schönes Fest

Wedding at Zickenschulze's

My darling, don't be a fool,
Don't stay single for too long.
Getting married can be nice,
I saw it myself just recently.
Zickenschulze from Bernau
Took his fourth wife already.
And so, that night,
We joined in the wedding fun.
Oh, how cozy it was,
We felt so good,
Eating and drinking
And playing around like crazy.
Snuggling with young girls,
Dancing with beautiful women,
And in between, some
Even got into a few fights.
Schulze's Aunt Lieselott
Lost her teeth in the compote,
And her husband ate his fish
Half-drunk under the table.
And I, undetected,
Pocketed twelve cigars.
I would have loved to take more,
But the box, it was empty.
Schulze's mother-in-law
Danced with Mr. Bock,
And lost her woolen petticoat in the process.
And the grandfather gasped like crazy
And his pants seam burst.
At the wedding table then
The real fun began.
Because the plumber Rau,
He was already quite drunk.
He kept yelling hoppsassa -
Play "Valencia"!
Honey, come on, you can learn,
I'll dance modern with you now.
He wanted to dance to the right,
But it didn't work out.
He wanted to try it to the left,
He was out of luck.
A tray of plum cake,
Nice and delicate and fresh,
Got caught on his frock coat
And fell off the table.
At the same moment
The plumber slipped back
Over the plum cake
And made jam out of it.
He then, in a panic,
Wanting to hold on to something,
Snatched a full pot of milk
From a waiter's hand.
And all the milk
- It was enough to make you scream-
Flowed into the plumber's wife's
Neckline.
And I didn't find that bad at all,
Because the milk, it knew where it belonged.
After the plum cake incident
There was another uproar:
Zicken-Schulze cried out in shock,
Kids, my wife is gone!

And then everyone searched,
And there she was in the garden,
Where she secretly and shamelessly,
Was fooling around with her brother-in-law!
Full of rage, Zicken-Schulze grabbed
A slat from the fence
And beat his brother-in-law
And his wife with it.
And all the wedding guests,
They took sides
And within two minutes,
There was the most beautiful brawl.
When I saw how everyone was fighting,
I thought: The air is thick here!
And I slithered like an eel
Sideways-backwards into the hall,
Just in case, to the wall,
Where the full beer keg stood.
And I thought, go ahead and fight,
I'll start sipping here.
But soon there was again
Harmony in the hall.
And now everyone is looking forward
To the next time.

When Zicken-Schulze
Gets divorced again,
My darling, then there will be
Another such beautiful party.
