Schrie laut aus seiner Not:
"Stich die Wolfzickin tot –

Und er stach dem Herrn Pick ins Gesicht –
Doch der Nachbar, der dankte es nicht!

And he saw, and his mouth fell open!

And the blood rose to his neck
When he stood before Marie and Mr. Pick!

And Woscheck saw red
Cried out loud from his distress:

And he stabbed Mr. Pick in the face –
But the neighbor didn't thank him for it!
