Los hombres no lloran decía padre,
Hasta que murió mi abuelo.
Y... no le bastaban los pañuelos,
Ese día comprendí que aunque existen los hombres duros,
Los momentos más crudos convierten en agua al hielo.
Nadie es tan blanco ni tan negro,
La dualidad es la piedra anular del universo.
Se crece más en el descenso, pues al probar la miseria
Nace la sed del progreso.
Hijo de padres comerciantes, sin lujos,
Ni carencias, valorando lo importante, así aprendi desde pequeño,
Que los sueños se cumplen solo si luchas por ellos.

Por eso es que me dejo el arte, cada canción que escribo,
Palabra por palabra, por eso mis versos son armas,
Que guardo en un cajón y saco solo para usarlas.
Mi madre me dijo un día,
Que para no perderme usará el corazón de guía, yo
Era muy pequeño para entender lo que decía, a
Hora me toco el pecho antes de cambiar de vía.
Y aunque no siempre me resulta,
Se que en cada tropiezo el aprendizaje se oculta.
Deje de ser un niño, welcome tu vida adulta,
Ahora cada respiro es un paso hacía la tumba.

Quejarme no va resolver, todos los problemas que el futuro aguarda.

Solo otro escritor insomnio,
Buscando la verdad sin saber que está no se esconde.
Quieto, pero imponente como un roble,
Pues aún sin la mitad siempre voy a dar el doble.
Parte de un sistema podrido,
Con miedo algún infame en el que
Crecerá mi hijo, miro con cara de pocos amigos,
Igual que mis pocos amigos.
Exijo el respeto que doy a todo ser vivo,
Pero si alguien me lo falta se convierte en mi enemigo.
El bien no siempre es compasivo,
Pues aquél que busca La Paz no debe ser pasivo.
Fiel a mis ideales, navegando a la calma entre lluvias torrenciales.
Pues crecí en calles marginales con
Bestias más feroces que las de animal planet.
Entre sangre, droga, e histeria,
Y mucha gente buena sonriéndole a la miseria.
Más de algún modo eso me alegra, p
Ues para volverte luz hay que nacer de las tinieblas.

Darkness

"Men don't cry," my father used to say,
Until my grandfather passed away.
And... handkerchiefs weren't enough that day,
That's when I understood, though tough men exist,
The harshest moments turn ice into mist.
No one is purely white or black,
Duality is the universe's wedding band, a fact.
We grow more in descent, for tasting misery
Births the thirst for progress within man.
Son of merchant parents, without luxury's embrace,
Nor lacking essentials, valuing what's truly of grace, I learned from a young age,
That dreams only come true through dedicated rage.

That's why I pour my soul into art, each song I write,
Word by word, that's why my verses ignite,
As weapons I keep in a drawer, only to use in fight.
My mother told me once,
To use my heart as a guide so I wouldn't be lost, I
Was too young to understand what she meant, across
Time now I touch my chest before changing my course.
And though it doesn't always work out,
I know that within each stumble, learning will sprout.
I ceased to be a child, welcome to adulthood's clout,
Now each breath is a step towards the tomb, no doubt.

(I know things aren't going well right now, but I won't let myself fall.
Maybe tomorrow will be worse than yesterday, maybe there will be no tomorrow at all, but
Complaining won't solve all the problems the future holds.

Just another sleepless writer,
Seeking the truth without knowing it doesn't hide, brighter.
Still, but imposing like an oak,
For even without half, I'll always give the most I can evoke.
Part of a rotten system,
Fearing some villain in which
My son will grow, I look with a frown,
Just like my few friends around.
I demand the respect I give to every living being,
But if someone disrespects me, they become my enemy, I'm seeing.
Goodness isn't always compassionate, it's true,
For the one who seeks peace must not be passive, through and through.
True to my ideals, sailing to calmness amidst torrential rains.
For I grew up on marginalized streets with pains,
With beasts fiercer than those on Animal Planet's domains.
Amongst blood, drugs, and hysteria's cries,
And many good people smiling at misery's lies.
But somehow that makes me glad, it applies,
For to become light, one must be born from darkness, it never dies.
