Gedankenstrom

Ein Strom von Gedanken reißt mich mit in deine Welt.
Ich würde gern' daneben stehen und lauschen.
Tropfen um Tropfen bahnen sich den Weg durch diese Welt,
Weder weil sie ... hinter Wasserfall und Rauschen.
Ein Fels in der Brandung, ein Licht in tiefster Dunkelheit,
Den Schmerz der Welt im Herzen, trotzdem fühl ich Heiterkeit.
Wir sezieren unser Leben, verzieren jeden eitlen Makel,
Kleine Monster die wir fürchten, wachsen mit der Zeit.

Ich baue mir ein Schiff aus Zukunft und Vergangenheit
Fahre mit dem Fluss der Stadt aufs Meer.
Der Sturm meines Gewissens zeichnet sich auf meiner Haut
Graue Stellen, tiefe Falten und die Augen werden leer.

Irgendwann ist Land in Sicht
Der Hafen ist ganz dicht
Die Augen glänzen wieder
Tief in mir ist doch noch Licht
Ich kehre ein und merke schnell
Hier bin ich nicht zu Hause
Setz' die Segel
Hol die Anker
Will nicht länger hier mehr sein
Ich speie in die See
Fühl die Gischt auf meiner Haut
Ja, ich lebe und es tut weh
Ganze Wege habe ich mir verbaut
Benannte die Umgebung voller Hoffnung und Erwartung
Und jetzt steh ich hier und lebe ohne künstliche Beatmung.

Und nach all den Jahren habe ich mich nochmal erkannt
Alte Stimme klingt so jung und so gut zu gehören
Das der Weise irre nie
Die Scherben im Sand schimmern nass hervor
Geschliffen wie ein Diamant.

Thought-stream

A torrent of thoughts takes me into your world.
I'd like to stand beside it and listen.
Drops by drops pave their way through this world,
Neither because they ... behind the waterfall and the noise.
A rock in the surf, a light in deepest darkness,
The pain of the world in my heart, yet I feel cheerfulness.
We dissect our lives, decorate each vain flaw,
Little monsters that we fear, grow over time.

Building myself a ship from the future and the past
Sailing with the river of the city to the sea.
The storm of my conscience draws itself on my skin
Grey areas, deep wrinkles and the eyes get empty.

There'll be land in sight someday
The harbour is very close
The eyes shine again
Deep in me there still is light
I enter and I quickly notice
I'm not at home here
Set the sails
Get the anchors
Don't want to be here any more
I spit in the sea
I feel the spray on my skin
Yes, I'm alive and it hurts
I have blocked all the ways
Named the environment full of hope and anticipation
And now I'm here and living without artificial respiration.

And now after all the years I have recognised myself again
Old voice sounds so young and so good to belong
That the sage never goes astray
The splinters in the sand shimmer wetly
Sharpened like a diamond.
