Wonder Woman

Every morning she goes for a run,
down through the south park.
Leaves her children in front of the station
and waits for them to get on the train.
A mundane story, time punishes her
and the suburb grows more.
It's no longer safe to walk around
tempting the devil,
she carries a weapon just in case.

She returns at noon, tired and dazed,
there's not much to do either.
