Voda, voda vodička studená i teploučká.
V rajské zahradě kdysi byla, čtyři voďáčata v ní žila.
Říkali si řeka, prudká, silná, velká.
První jméno Píšon bylo, rybám se v ní dobře žilo.
Gíchon je ta druhá řeka a v té rak na tebe čeká.
Chidekel ten třetí byl, žábami se naplnil.
Eufrat jméno čtvrté znělo, umí hladit plavců tělo.

Rivers

Water, water, little water, both cold and warm.
In the Garden of Eden, long ago, four little water spirits lived.
They called themselves rivers, rapid, strong, and grand.
The first was named Pishon, where fish thrived and swam.
Gihon is the second river, and there a crayfish waits for you, my dear.
Hiddekel was the third, filled to the brim with frogs.
Euphrates, the fourth name sounded, its waters caress a swimmer's body so gently.
